The Hiekkasärkät holiday area and its beautiful sand dunes create a magnificent setting for events of all sizes. The versatile services of the holiday area are located in a compact area within walking distance of each other. Kalajoki Booking Centre accommodated one of the Finland`s biggest political party conference`s guests – about one thousand participants. Conference was arranged between 8-10 th of June 2022 in Kalajoki. Hiekkadyyni Oy, Tuupa Records Oy and Kalajoki Booking Centre took care of meeting arrangements in co-operation.
The KalaDOGi Show was held at Kalajoki Airport for the first time in July 2019. In its first year, the show already attracted as many as 8,500 visitors and 3,500 dogs.
The annual meeting of the Association of Finnish Lions Clubs was held in Kalajoki in June 2019. The meeting was attended by 1,300 people.
In addition, the Kalajoki Booking Centre assisted with the accommodation arrangements during the #Nofilter national conference of the Junior Chamber of Commerce held in April 2019.
The gospel festival of the Lutheran Evangelical Association of Finland was held at Kalajoki Airport in June 2018. The event attracted a total of approximately 10,000 visitors for the weekend.
The Kalajoki Booking Centre served as the organiser and host of the OP-Pohjola’s Summer Days 2016 in collaboration with entrepreneurs in the Hiekkasärkät area. The two-day event attracted 1,500 visitors to Hiekkasärkät.
